Got yelled at for deceiving a woman about my dog

Had my puppy with me at a store. He’s a doberman with uncropped ears. A woman came up to me and just reached out and pet him (i was holding him) and goes “he’s such a cute rottweiler!”

First off lady, back away. I said to her “oh actually he’s a doberman”. She yanked her hand away and gave me a disgusted look and got MAD AT ME. She yelled to me “you really shouldn’t be deceiving people like that! Someone’s gonna think he’s a gentle dog and get attacked for not knowing that he’s actually a different breed. Crop his ears so people can be cautious.”

She stormed off. I stood there stunned. My puppy was looking at me like “wtf was that”.

Also, who looks at a rotty and thinks they don’t look intimidating? You’re gonna tell me you don’t fit a rotty in the same category as a doberman? Both give off big bad scary dog vibes, even though both can be sweet as pie.

I should’ve told her he was a poodle.
